Thomas A. Gardner President and chairman of the board, BSc Mechanical Engineering, 1949, Oregon State University, with an active career as mill engineer at Iroquois Falls and senior staff engineer at American Can; held patents for high velocity dryer, floater dryer, pocket ventilator, blow-through control, and other applied developments; consultant, licensor, and systems designer in the field of drying, e.g., high velocity drying, dryer sections, pocket ventilation, steam & condensate systems, drying of coatings, heat set inks, Yankee tissue, etc. Active in the technical associations, Tom published more than 30 papers, participated in symposiums and roundtables, and lectured in the field of drying.
